vSnake is a word-building snake game. Slither across a large open map, eat letter orbs, and assemble valid English words from the CEFR vocabulary (A1–C2). Longer and rarer words score more. Beat the clock in Challenge mode and climb the worldwide leaderboard, or battle other players head-to-head in online rooms.

Game modes

• Challenge mode — a timed solo run; your score uploads to a global leaderboard (daily / weekly / all-time).
• Online rooms — create or join public and private rooms and play against others in real time on our server.
• LAN multiplayer (macOS) — host a room on your local Wi-Fi network, no account needed.
• Cross-platform — iPhone, iPad and Mac players meet in the same online rooms.

How to play

• Drag the on-screen joystick (or use arrow keys on Mac) to steer the snake head.
• Eat letter orbs to append letters to your current word; the word auto-confirms when it is a valid English word.
• Eat a letter that breaks the word and you burst — spit the letters out or restart.
• Score = word length squared × rarity factor. Avoid black poison orbs.
• Six vocabulary levels (CEFR A1–C2); pick your difficulty in settings.

Accounts & privacy

An account is optional: solo and LAN play need none. Creating an account stores only your username and password hash plus your challenge scores. You can permanently delete your account — including all scores — from inside the app at any time (Online Battle screen → Delete Account). See our Privacy Policy.
